Pop up your tent in one of our spacious, improved campsites, complete with a fire ring and picnic table, or book one of our cozy, artist-inspired Couples Glamps for a more luxurious stay. Bringing the family or friends? Try one of our fully-furnished Safari Glamps. Or bring your home on wheels to one of our RV sites with water and electrical hookups. All sites are just a short walk to our modern bath house with private showers and restroom stalls (floor-to-ceiling doors!), ample sink and counter space, a dishwashing station and water bottle refill station. Whether you want to rough it a little, or you just want to bask in the peaceful surroundings with the comforts of home, the accommodations at Bohamia make for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

COUPLES Glamps
Our couples glamps are custom-built chalets that look like a tent on the inside but keep you warm (and cool) all year round. They feature hotel quality queen size beds and linens, heating and air conditioning, and your own private deck with a Solo Stove, Adirondacks, and a Keurig-style coffee maker. You’re steps away from our upscale bathhouse with private restrooms and endless hot showers.
We have six couples glamps arranged in groups of three. The common hangout area for each group of three features a fire pit with cooking grate, picnic tables, a water spigot, extra electrical outlet, and additional Adirondack chairs. Friends and families often book groups of glamps at a time - G-1, G-2, and G-3 are all painted by local artist Natasha Purkiss and form one group. G-4, G-5, and G-6 form another group nearby and have been painted by Talladega native Jeffery Hallman. Want to book all six couples glamps at once? Reach out to us for a special offer!
SAFARI GLAMPS
Our safari tent glamps are large tents built on elevated platforms with private decks facing the forest. Configured as either Family Glamps (queen bed and bunks) or Double Glamps (2 queen beds), they feature hotel quality beds and linens, nightstands with electrical outlets, a kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, water dispenser, and a Keurig-style coffee maker. Your private deck comes complete with a Solo Stove and Adirondack chairs. You’re a short walk away from our upscale bathhouse with private restrooms and endless hot showers.
We have four safari glamps arranged in a loose semi-circle around a parking area with filtered water spigots. Friends and families often book groups of glamps at a time. Want to book all four safari glamps at once? Reach out to us for a special offer!
RV Sites
RV sites at Bohamia are low density site-built with plenty of privacy from your neighbors, and are a short walk to our luxury bathhouse with private restrooms and showers. The entrance to our property is steeply graded with a mix of asphalt and gravel. Please be sure you have an adequate tow vehicle for pull behind RVs.
These sites are great for tent campers who prefer to have full hookups as well. There’s plenty of space for two tents and a couple of vehicles.
All sites are back-in 20’x40’ level gravel pads with plenty of room to maneuver your tow vehicle.
Each site offers 30 and 50amp hookups and water. Sewer hookups are not provided.
Picnic table and fire ring are provided.
Firewood, ice, and other items delivered to your site from our online camp store.
Each is a short walking distance from our bathhouse.
primitive Camping
When you really want to immerse yourself in the Bohamia wilderness, book a campsite. You bring the gear, we’ll provide the perfect site. Bohamia campsites feature level tent pads, a campfire ring with grill attachment, and a picnic table. Oh yeah, and a wide open sky full of stars and soundtrack provided by nature. Whether you’re an advanced tent camper, or just getting into it, the campsites at Bohamia offer exactly what you need for that authentic camping experience. Pond campsites are primitive (no electrical or water hookups) with a porta potty very close by. If you prefer electrical and water hookups (and to be close to our bathhouse) select one of our RV sites - the have level gravel pads for two tents and plenty of privacy. All of our campsites are priced for at least two adult campers and include one free child per adult. You can add additional adults or children to the site when you check out, up to the maximum number of occupants listed per site.
the bath house
The Bath House at Bohamia features 3 private shower rooms with a bench and clothes hooks, with locking floor-to-ceiling doors. The Bath House also features 4 private toilet rooms (one of which is ADA-compliant), also with locking floor-to-ceiling doors. A four-sink vanity is located in the open air breeze way with ceiling fans to maximize airflow. An exterior dishwashing station makes clean up easy. And a water bottle refill station helps you stay hydrated your entire stay.
