Join us for a helluva good time, and hopefully the first of many! Presenting: Dropperfest 2024, a Belated Birthday Bash. It’s a Reason to Celebrate and an Excuse to Jam! This first annual event is a belated 18th birthday bash for Julia Gale, singer, songwriter, and now legal adult! We’ll celebrate Julia by making her play songs for us. And, loving friends and family that we are, we’ll play with her on some. It’s a weekend of music and merriment that’ll look something like this:

Friday 11/22/24

5pm - Kick off the fest by pitching your tent or checking in to your glamp, then gather behind the Lodge for a BBQ dinner, campfire and acoustic singlalong.

9pm - Quiet time. Get some Zzzs because tomorrow is a big day!

Saturday 11/23/24

10am - 2pm - come help set up the stage. There’s platforms to assemble, lights to hang, and all manner of PA gear to place and plug in. Ever considered a career as a band roadie, production assistant or circus lackie? Now’s your chance to try it out!

3pm - Three sets of Americana from Julia Gale, Evy Alley and special guests.

4pm - A solo set of original music from Ben Gosdin. Yes, Ben!

5pm - A blistering set from preteen rock phenoms, Withering Heights!

6pm - Potluck Dinner. Bring something to share!

7pm - A throwback set from members of the early oughts neoclassic rock band Catalytic, backed by Julia and Evy.

8pm - Even more more music! A bring-the-house-down set from Julia and Evy backed by The Droppers (that’s us: the old dudes who’ve earned the right to throw our own festival by never having played at a real one).

9pm - Quiet time. Because let’s face it: most of the people at Bohamia this weekend won’t be there for us.

Sunday 11/24/24

10am - Champagne Brunch! (BYOB)

12pm - Checkout of glamps, and pack your tents, then play in the outdoors. Hike around. Check out the waterfall. Admire the colorful leaves. Take a dip in the cold pond if you dare!

2pm - That’s a wrap. See you next year!
